  This was a great place to go for lunch. The newly refurbished dining room is great, and the viewing window into the kitchen is a nice touch. The food was brilliant and the deserts were tempting enough to force us to have three courses. We will be coming back for more great food

  All good here, food, staff. Brilliant can't give 5 stars. Save that last star for Michelin restaurants, so to get a 4 is worth a visit

  The food was tasty and inventive especially my do over version of a ploughman's and they were very generous with the scampi. My only criticism would be the Olives and bread we ordered to nibble on whilst we we waited for our main was very slow in arriving in fact if hadn't mentioned it to a member of staff I don't think it would have arrived, 2 minutes later the mains arrived. However the pimms was lovely a good price and all the fruit served as my pudding.

  Brilliant. Enjoyed Tuesday night tasting menu. Can honestly say it was far above expectation. The menu consisted of Curried soup, smoked duck, goats cheese and beetroot, fish selection bowl and rhubarb cheese cake with appropriate extras. Every course was beautiful. Would highly recommend.
